Is instagram connected to facebook? Because I neither have nor want a facebook account, so I've been dubious regarding instagram.

Thank you so much for the other app(lications) suggestions! I'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to the New Technology and can use all the help I can get! Snagged Yelp, YouTube & Pinterest, but all the rest were new to me, so I've got a lot to explore.

I'm not much of a gamer, to be honest, but I will keep you in mind as a source. ;)
